The Ruins of the Southern garden rest deep within it. As the Southern garden is by far the largest garden there has been much speculation that the Southern garden had perhaps at one time been part of the City. There have been ruins recently discovered here, fitting a similar architecture style to the existing city if not abit newer seeming. Despite the overgrowth that has taken hold there.
The Ruins are quite extensive and many of them lead partially at least underground. It seems as if some kind of cataclysmic event had taken place in this part of the city at one time. Either by war or some natural means the ruins have partially sunken under the city. white columns lay broken, covered by vines and various plants.
A large white circle of them had stood tall at one time but no longer.. The only proof of it's existence now is a series of large boulders and fractured pieces of column. Many buildings made of marble and limestone, are half collapsed and others, are eerily almost unmolested save for their overgrowth and cracks. Everything that is not covered by dirt or growth is a stark white.
As the ruins are so far deep within the Incarnum earth garden not many venture here, and not very often. All manner of rumor and myth about them have begun springing up. They being the alleged remains of the mysterious domain of the Pale Queen. to others.
There may be truth to these rumors, as the ruins are not part of any existing or known city layout or map. Past or present. So they must certainly have come during a time before the Naeturians and their king Michael Aradaine had reclaimed the city.
