"It works because I say so"
Technomages tend to use that explanation alot. And strangely enough the Universe seems to back them up. If only for a short time, before it realizes what it's done and some horrible backlash happens. Technomages tend to do what should be out right impossible, and the results are often explosive. Technomages create things that are by their nature highly unstable but they are incredibly effective.
Technomages have seemingly tapped into the very essence of the Universe itself, or at least the math behind it. Whether by natural talent, incredible research or some maddening combination of the above.
11th level action
No I told you it goes like this When the Technomancer spends an action point, an ally of their choice may reroll a failed saving throw, skill check or attack roll and gains a +4 on the check then the Universe Backlashes, and the ally takes a -2 to Ac until the start of their turn.
11th level feature
Mathmatic Formulae The Technomage, gains a +2 on Impossible Research checks, a +2 on Knowledge mechanic checks, and the ability to negate one back lash per extended rest.
16th level feature
Time Distortions. You've been messing with Space Time again. Only this time it really has paid off.
When you negate a Backlash you gain a +2 on your next attack roll, skill check or saving throw.
11th level Encounter
It works doesn't it?
Physics be damned. You've just created the first plasma vortex disruptor! Or some other ludicrous device. Shame it's gone on it's first use. Maybe you can fix it later.
Implement. Standard Action.
Int vs Reflex.
4d6+Wis mod damage. The target is stunned until the end of it's next turn. The universe Backlashes blowing the device up in your hands. You take 1d6 damage.
12th level utility
I made it better! Words a technomage utters which usually causes everyone to groan with a sense of impending doom.
Encounter. You can add a +2 to any roll involving a mechanical device.
20th Daily
Mathematically Proven Somehow you have proven that your enemy doesn't or shouldn't mathematically exist. To the Universe. Your enemy begins to become erased from the Universes records.
Daily. Standard Action, Implement. Necrotic.
Int vs Will.
Hit: 3d8 damage + Wis mod. Your opponent is stunned until the end of it's next turn.
Sustain, minor. Repeat attack. 2d6+Wis mod damage.
Sustain mnor, 2d6 damage.
When the target reaches 0hp, or when the attack misses the universe Backlashes. But not on you for once. On your enemy. They take a -2 to their next roll.
