*Sights, sounds and smells not often experienced managed their way into the Twylight City, a traveling band of bards, and other assorted performers made their way upon the City's Twylight landscape. Dressed in all manner of costumes appearing as monsters, and various fantastical creatures... the best part of all was perhaps that some of them were indeed monsters but who was going to stop and ask during the Autumn Festival? Songs played through the air that held a haunting melody to them, as if the songs themselves were ghosts upon the wind. The Old Ghosts of the City were out in many more numbers than they usually were, milling around the City and enjoying their all too brief time in the world. The Barriers between this realm and the spirit realm being at their utmost thin point this time of year. And it would only grow all the thinner between here and the end of the month. *
*Someone tried to sneak a real zombie into the Festival but they were caught in short order.. Not so much due to any magical detection measures but more due to the fact the Zombie got loose and tried to devour someone. Luckily the town guard was close by and the Rotting Walking Corpse was dealt with in short order. As was it's summoner. He was hauled off to the jail to await trial.. Desecrating the dead and all that. Ship Captains unloaded their cargo, themselves and their crews to enjoy the festivities. Who was to say what sort of pleasant scares awaited them? There were magiks about, spirits around, and through all of this people enjoying themselves in a way that they really only could once a year.*
